Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I applied perfume to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for his Ihram, when he assumed Ihram (before assuming Ihram), and for his becoming lawful (halal) before the Tawaf al-Ifadah.
