‘Mother of the Believers, Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that’ Asma bint Umais began experiencing postnatal bleeding due to the birth of Muhammad bin Abi Bakr during the journey at Dhul-Hulaifah, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to tell her to perform ghusl (ritual bath) and recite the Talbiyah.
