Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Unais (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Laylat al-Qadr was shown to me, then it was made to be forgotten by me. And I saw (in a dream) that in the morning of that night I was prostrating in water and mud." The narrator said that on the twenty-third night, it rained upon us and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led us in prayer. When he turned after the prayer (i.e., the morning prayer), there were traces of water and mud on his forehead and nose. And Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Unais (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that the twenty-third night was Laylat al-Qadr.
