Mukhtasar Muslim

Lady Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that my mother has come and she is disinterested in the religion (in other narrations it is mentioned that she is a polytheist), so should I treat her kindly and do good to her? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: Yes.
