It is narrated from Sayyida Maymunah bint Harith (may Allah be pleased with her) that she freed a slave-girl during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: "If you had given her to your maternal uncles, it would have been a greater cause of reward for you."
