It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Hasten with the funeral procession. For if the deceased was righteous, you are taking him towards goodness, and if he was evil, you are removing an evil from your necks.
