`Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sulaik Ghatafani came on the day of Jumu’ah while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting on the pulpit. Sulaik (may Allah be pleased with him) sat down without performing prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Have you prayed two rak‘ahs?" He replied, "No." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Stand up and perform them."
