Mukhtasar Muslim

It is narrated from Husain that ‘Amarah bin Ru’aybah (may Allah be pleased with him) saw Bishr, the son of Marwan, on the pulpit raising both his hands (to gesture during the sermon). So he said, “May Allah ruin these two hands! I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) do no more than this,” and he gestured with his index finger.
