Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We used to perform Jumu’ah with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when the sun had declined. Then we would return seeking shade (that is, there would be no shade of the walls).
