Sayyiduna Zirr bin Hubaish رضي الله عنه narrates that Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib رضي الله عنه said: By Him Who split the grain (and then caused grass to grow from it) and created the soul, the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم made a covenant with me that none will love me except a believer, and none will hate me except a hypocrite.
