Mukhtasar Muslim

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us and said: "I see you raising your hands as if they are the tails of unruly horses. Remain calm in prayer." Then, on one occasion, he saw us sitting in circles and said: "Why are you sitting separately?" Then, on another occasion, he said: "Why do you not form rows as the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord?" We asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How do the angels form rows in the presence of their Lord?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "They complete the first rows and stand close together in the row."
