'Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that' Indeed, I do not fall short in praying with you in the manner that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray with us. (Thabit said) Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to do something which I do not see you doing: when he would raise his head from bowing (ruku‘), he would stand straight until someone would say that he has forgotten. And when he would raise his head from prostration (sajdah), he would remain so long that someone would say that he has forgotten. (That is, he would remain for a long time.)
