Warrad, who was the freed slave of Sayyiduna Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him), says that Sayyiduna Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to Sayyiduna Mu’awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer and said salam, he would say: “There is no true deity except Allah, He is alone and has no partner, sovereignty belongs to Him and all praise is for Him, and He is capable of everything. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the effort of the striver is of no benefit before You.”
