Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever is called to account on the Day of Resurrection will be punished. I said: But Allah, the Exalted, says: “Then he will soon be given an easy reckoning, and he will return to his people rejoicing.” He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This is not the reckoning; this is only the presentation of deeds. Whoever is questioned in detail about the reckoning on the Day of Resurrection will be punished.
