Mukhtasar Muslim

‘Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said’ about this verse: “And if a woman fears ill-treatment or aversion from her husband, there is no sin upon them if they make terms of settlement between them { کوئی بات طے کر کے }...” She said that this verse was revealed about a woman who is with a man, but he no longer wishes to keep her with him much; however, the woman has children and intimacy with her husband, and she dislikes leaving her husband, so she gives up her right regarding herself. (That is, she relinquishes her conjugal right.)
