Mukhtasar Muslim

Sayyiduna Salim narrates from his father Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said: "Envy is not permissible except for two men: one to whom Allah has given the Qur'an and he recites it day and night (and acts upon it); the other is the one to whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it (in the way of Allah) day and night."
