Mukhtasar Muslim

´Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Three things accompany the deceased (to the graveyard). Then two return and one remains. His family, his wealth, and his deeds go with him; so his family and wealth return, and his deeds remain with him. (Therefore, deeds are the true companion; one should strive for them. Children, wealth, and property are only with a person while he is alive; after death, they are of no use, and being attached to them is foolishness.)
