Mukhtasar Muslim

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Indeed, the people of Paradise will look at those in the higher levels just as one looks at a shining star that is on the horizon of the sky, whether in the east or the west. This is because of the difference in ranks among them. The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Are these ranks only for the Prophets and no one else will attain them?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Why not? By Him in Whose hand is my soul, those ranks will be attained by people who believed in Allah and affirmed the truth of the Prophets (that is, the rank of the Prophets will be much higher than this)."
