`Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that` I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: When Allah Almighty intends to punish a people, then everyone among them is afflicted with the punishment (that is, the good and righteous are also included in the punishment), then on the Day of Resurrection, they will be raised according to their deeds (on the Day of Resurrection, the good will not be with the evil).
