Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that Sayyiduna Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) used to give the call to prayer (adhan) for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he was blind.
