Tawoos says: I met several companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and they used to say that everything is by destiny. And I heard from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Everything is by destiny, even incapacity and intelligence (that is, some people are clever and wise and some are foolish and lazy, this too is by destiny)."
