Book of Oppression and Injustice
Oppression is forbidden and the command to seek forgiveness and repent.
Hadith 1829

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Beware of oppression, for oppression will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection (due to oppression, there will be darkness and no way will be found on the Day of Resurrection), and beware of miserliness, for miserliness destroyed those before you. Because of miserliness (greed for wealth), they shed blood and made the unlawful lawful.
