Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (the Prophet) related from Allah, Who said: O My servants! I have made oppression unlawful for Myself and have made it unlawful for you as well, so do not oppress one another. O My servants! All of you are astray except for those whom I guide, so seek guidance from Me and I shall guide you. O My servants! All of you are hungry except for those whom I feed, so ask Me for food and I shall feed you. O My servants! All of you are naked except for those whom I clothe, so ask Me for clothing and I shall clothe you. O My servants! You cannot harm Me nor can you benefit Me. If the first and the last of you, and all humans and jinn among you, were as pious as the most pious heart among you, that would not increase My kingdom in the least. And if the first and the last of you, and all humans and jinn among you, were as wicked as the most wicked heart among you, that would not decrease My kingdom in the least. O My servants! If the first and the last of you, and all humans and jinn among you, were to stand together in one place and ask of Me, and I were to give each one what he asked for, that would not diminish what I have any more than a needle diminishes the sea when it is dipped into it (for no matter how vast the sea is, it is still limited, but My treasure is infinite; this is only an example). O My servants! These are your deeds which I keep count of for you, then I will recompense you fully for them. So whoever finds good, let him praise Allah (for his earning was not wasted), and whoever finds other than that, let him blame no one but himself (for he received as he did). Sa‘id said that whenever Abu Idris Khawlani narrated this hadith, he would fall upon his knees.
