Those who exaggerate or engage in useless talk are destroyed.
Hadith 1824

`Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Those who split hairs have perished (i.e., those who indulge in useless hair-splitting, go to extremes, and are bigoted). He said this three times.
