Mukhtasar Muslim

‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that indeed Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Shall I not tell you what is the most heinous slander? It is tale-bearing which sows enmity among people.” And Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “A person continues to speak the truth until he is recorded with Allah as truthful, and he continues to lie until he is recorded with Allah as a liar.”
