Mukhtasar Muslim

Narrated from Sayyida Umm Mubashshir (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying to Umm al-Mu’minin Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) that, if Allah wills, none of the people of the Tree will enter Hell. That is, those who pledged allegiance under the tree. She said, “O Messenger of Allah! Why will they not enter?” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rebuked her. Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) said that Allah Almighty says: “There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell)” (Surah Maryam: 71). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah Almighty says: “Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees” (Surah Maryam: 72).
