Mukhtasar Muslim

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), he said: We used to call Zaid bin Harithah as Zaid bin Muhammad (because the Prophet ﷺ had called him his adopted son), until it was revealed in the Qur'an: "Call them by (the names of) their fathers; that is more just in the sight of Allah." (Al-Ahzab: 5).
