Mukhtasar Muslim

Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: Among the previous nations before you, there used to be people who were "Muhaddath" (whose opinions were correct, whose intuition was right, or to whom angels would inspire). If there is anyone like that in my Ummah, it would be Umar ibn al-Khattab. Ibn Wahb said that the meaning of "Muhaddathun" is "those who are inspired."
