Mukhtasar Muslim

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My example is like that of a person who lit a fire, and when it illuminated the surroundings, moths and those creatures that fall into the fire began to fall into it, and that person started to prevent them, but they did not stop and kept falling into it. This is the example of me and you: I am holding your backs to keep you away from Hell and saying, "Stay away from the edge of Hell," but you do not listen and keep plunging into it.
