Mukhtasar Muslim

Narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Umm Malik (may Allah be pleased with her) used to send clarified butter (ghee) as a gift to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a small bowl. Then her sons would come and ask for curry from it, and when there was nothing at home, Umm Malik (may Allah be pleased with her) would go to that bowl, and there would be ghee in it. In this way, the curry of her house always remained. Once, Umm Malik (out of eagerness) squeezed out the bowl, and then she came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He inquired, "Did you squeeze it out?" She replied, "Yes." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If you had left it as it was (and taken from it only when needed), it would have always remained."
