Mukhtasar Muslim

`Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: There is no such thing as bad omen (i.e., considering someone unlucky), and the best omen is a good one. The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is a good omen?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: It is the good word that one of you hears.
