Mukhtasar Muslim

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "My brother is suffering from diarrhea." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Make him drink honey." He made him drink honey. Then he came back and said, "The diarrhea has increased after giving honey." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said the same thing three times, "Make him drink honey." Then, the fourth time, he came and said, "I have given him honey, but the diarrhea has increased." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Allah has spoken the truth and your brother's stomach has lied." Then he made him drink honey, and he was cured.
