‘A’ishah Siddiqah, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), says that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would fall ill, Jibril (peace be upon him) would recite this supplication over him: “In the name of Allah, I seek help for you. May He cure you from every illness, protect you from the evil of every envious person, and safeguard you from the harm of every evil eye.”
