Mukhtasar Muslim

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: The most despicable and worst name in the sight of Allah Almighty is that of the person whom people call "Malik al-Muluk" (King of Kings). In another narration, it is stated that there is no owner except Allah Almighty. Sufyan (i.e., Ibn Uyaynah) said that "Malik al-Muluk" is like "Shahanshah" (Emperor). And Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal said: I asked Abu Amr about the meaning of "Akhna‘", and he said that it means the most despicable.
