Busr bin Saeed narrates from Zaid bin Khalid, and he narrates from the companion of the Messenger of Allah, Sayyiduna Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him), that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Angels do not enter a house in which there is a picture. Busr said: Zaid became ill, so we went to visit him, and there was a curtain hanging at his door on which there was an image. I said to Ubaidullah Khawlani, who was the stepson of Umm al-Mu'mineen Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her): Did not Zaid himself narrate to us the hadith about pictures? (And now a curtain with a picture is hanging.) Ubaidullah said: When he narrated it, did you not hear that he also said, "Except for what is on cloth"?
