Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would perform ablution with one mudd and would perform ghusl with one saa’ up to five mudd. (One saa’ is two and a half kilograms and a “mudd” is a quarter of a saa’.)
