Mukhtasar Muslim

It is narrated from Wa'il Hadhrami that Tariq bin Suwaid Jufi (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about wine, so he (peace be upon him) forbade (or disliked) its making. He (Tariq) said: I make it for medicinal purposes. The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: No, it is not a medicine, rather it is a disease.
