`Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that` when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade making nabidh in certain vessels, the noble Companions submitted that not all people have access to the vessels in which making nabidh is permitted. So, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) allowed making nabidh in all vessels except for the muzaffat, that is, the oil-coated pitcher.
