´Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) says that` I was serving wine to Sayyiduna Abu Talha, Abu Dujanah, Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with them), and a group of the Ansar when a person came in and said: "There is news, wine has been declared unlawful." Then, on that very day, we poured out the wine, and that wine was made from gudar (i.e., dates whose color had turned red or yellow but were not yet fit to eat) and dried dates. Qatadah said that Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that when wine was prohibited, most of their wine was this khaleet, i.e., made by mixing gudar and dried dates.
