Umm al-Mu'mineen Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about (a type of) wine called "bat‘" and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Every drink that intoxicates is forbidden.
