Mukhtasar Muslim

Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): He (peace be upon him) said: It is obligatory upon a Muslim to listen to and obey (the ruler), whether he likes it or not, except when he is ordered to commit a sin; in that case, he should neither listen nor obey.
