Mukhtasar Muslim

Narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that he went to Hajjaj, so he said, “O son of Akwa’! Have you become an apostate that you have started living in the wilderness again?” Sayyiduna Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “No, rather the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had given me permission to live in the wilderness.”
