It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was supplicating on the day of Uhud: "O Allah! If You will, there will not remain anyone on earth to worship You." (This is a portion of the hadith. In the complete hadith, it is mentioned that if the Muslims are defeated today, the people of Tawheed will perish.)
