Mukhtasar Muslim

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you travel during the days of pasture and water (that is, in good weather, when animals have plenty of water and fodder), let the camels take their share from the earth. And when you travel during drought, then move quickly with them (so that you may quickly pass through the drought-stricken land). And when you camp at night, avoid the road (that is, set up camp away from the path), because at night the road is the dwelling place of insects and vermin.
