Mukhtasar Muslim

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man bit another's hand (with his teeth). The other pulled his hand away, and the front teeth of the one who bit fell out. (Then the one whose teeth had fallen out) complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "What do you want? Do you want me to order him to put his hand in your mouth and then you chew it as a camel chews? Well, you too put your hand in his mouth so he may chew it, then you pull your hand away (i.e., if you wish, retribution can be carried out in this way: you also put your hand in his mouth and then pull it away; either his teeth will break or your hand will be injured)."
