Hadith 2225
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty says that when My servant intends to do an evil deed, (O angels!) do not record it until he does it. Then if he does it, write it as one evil deed, and if he refrains from it out of fear of Me (i.e., does not commit that evil), then record it as one good deed. And when he intends to do a good deed but does not do it, record it as one good deed, and if he does it, then record it from ten times up to seven hundred times."

Hadith 2226
Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "When a servant reaches a sin," and at times he said: "When he commits a sin and says: O Lord! I have sinned," and at times he said (he says): "I have reached a sin," then Allah Almighty says: My servant knows that (there is) his Lord who forgives his sins and takes him to account (from whose fear he seeks refuge). I have forgiven My servant. Then (after a short while) the servant again reaches a sin or commits a sin and says: O Lord! I have sinned or I have reached a sin, so forgive me. Allah Almighty says: My servant knows that his Lord is the One who forgives sins and also takes to account. I have forgiven My servant. Then (after a short while) he again commits a sin or said: "reaches a sin" and says: O Lord! I have reached a sin or I have committed a sin, so forgive me. Allah Almighty says: My servant knows that surely his Lord is the One who forgives sins and takes to account. I have forgiven My servant, so let him do what he wishes." (The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said this) three times.
