Mukhtasar Bukhari

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said: "When Allah created the creation, He wrote in His Book—regarding Himself, and that Book is with Him above the Throne—that My mercy prevails over My wrath."

Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): He said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “(Allah Almighty says:) I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in his heart, I also remember him in My heart, and if he remembers Me in a gathering, I also remember him in a gathering (i.e., of angels) better than them. And if he comes near to Me a hand’s span, I go near to him an arm’s length, and if he comes near to Me an arm’s length, I go near to him two arm’s lengths, and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.”
