Hadith 2181
`Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that` the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit Umm Haram bint Milhan (may Allah be pleased with her), and she was the wife of Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him). One day, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to her, and she served him food and began to look at his head as if searching for lice. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell asleep, and then when he woke up, he woke up smiling. Umm Haram said, "O Messenger of Allah! What makes you smile?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some people from my Ummah were shown to me, fighting in the way of Allah, riding on the sea (on ships), like kings on thrones or like kings sitting on their thrones." This doubt is from the narrator Ishaq. Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "I said, O Messenger of Allah! Pray to Allah that He makes me among them." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for her, then rested his head and slept again. Then he woke up smiling. Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "I said, O Messenger of Allah! (Now) what makes you smile?" He said: "Some people from my Ummah were presented before me, fighting in the way of Allah," as he had said the first time. She said, "I said, Pray to Allah that He makes me among them." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will be among the first ones." Thus, Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) boarded a ship in the sea during the caliphate of Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him), and when she came out of the sea, she fell from her riding animal and passed away.
