Hadith 2175
Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him):
A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "Will we be taken to account for the deeds we committed during the time of ignorance?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "Whoever does good deeds in (the state of) Islam will not be taken to account for the sins committed during the time of ignorance, but whoever does not do good deeds in (the state of) Islam, he will be taken to account for all his sins, both those of the time of ignorance and those of Islam."
