Mukhtasar Bukhari

`Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates:` The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My reservoir (Kawthar, in its length and width) is the distance of a month's journey. Its water is whiter than milk and more fragrant than musk, and its drinking vessels (cups, goblets, etc.) are like the stars in the sky. Whoever drinks from it (even once) will never feel thirsty again."

Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "My reservoir (Kawthar) will be before you. Its size is as great as the distance from Jurba to Azrah."

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The size of my cistern is as much as the distance from Aylah to Sana'a (and both these cities are located in the land of Yemen), and its drinking vessels are as numerous as the stars in the sky."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, I will be standing at the Hawd (the Pond). A group will come, and when I recognize them, a person (an angel) will come out between me and them and say (to those people), 'Go.' I will say, 'Where are you taking them?' He will say, 'To the Fire, by Allah (where else).' I will say, 'What is the reason for this?' He will say, 'These people turned back on their heels (abandoned the religion) after your death (and put Allah's commands behind their backs).' Then (after them) another group will come, and when I recognize them (that they are from my Ummah), a person (an angel) will come out between me and them and say, 'Go.' I will say, 'Where will you take them?' He will say, 'To the Fire.' I will say, 'Why?' He will say, 'These people turned back on their heels after your death.' (And put Allah's commands behind their backs.) The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Then only a very few of them will be saved.'"

Narrated Haritha bin Wahb (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mention the Hawd (Pond) of Kawthar, and he said: "Its length is like the distance from Madinah to Sana'a in Yemen."
